Just a quick note to let you all know that my mediport was removed yesterday. My chest is sore where it was cut out and sewn back shut but that will heal and go away. I am so happy that it's gone, and I hope I never have to make the decision to put it back in.
Whew, now I can take the large binder clip off of the passenger-side seat belt!
Next stop along my pathway: I will have a CT scan the first week of December. Then another PET scan will follow 6 months after that.
